Grounded in the latest multi-society guidelines, this course explores the deep physiological intersections that define Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM) Syndrome—linking obesity, type 2 diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and cardiovascular pathology. Participants will analyze the four-stage classification framework of CKM syndrome and learn how to implement coordinated, guideline-directed medical therapies. Emphasis is placed on leveraging organ-protective medications—such as SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists—alongside risk stratification tools to intercept disease progression and protect multi-organ health.
