Illuminating the Science of Hyperpigmentation

This course provides a foundational, science-driven approach to understanding the complex pathophysiology and management of hyperpigmentation disorders, including Melasma, Postinflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH), and solar lentigines. We’ll critically examine the cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive melanogenesis, exploring the roles of UV radiation, inflammation, hormonal factors, and genetic predispositions.
